Interesting Facts about the Alakazam

Alakazam is the final evolution of Abra, and considerably more powerful in its psychic abilities. This Pokemon bears the same coloring as its lesser involved versions, but has a much longer snout and mustache, though females have shorter ones. It carries with it two metal spoons that amplify the power of its abilities, which Alakazam will often use to lower the accuracy of its enemy. They are an incredibly intelligent Pokemon, their brain growing too heavy for their bodies. They have to use their psychic gifts to move their muscles and lift their head, because the weight of their ever-growing brain becomes too much. It’s been said that Alakazam can remember everything it has ever experienced, since being born an Abra.

Arts and Crafts Activity Notes: Draw a picture of the Alakazam, and make copies to hand out to each participant. Instruct them to color in the Pokemon with crayons, colored pencils or markers. After that is done, have them draw a thought bubble for their Alakazam, and fill the bubble with things that are important to their own memory. Important events, people, pets, etc. should come to mind. They can draw their memories if they’d like, or use pictures printed from the internet, cut-out images from magazines, and photographs. Now they’ll each have their own Alakazam that will never forget any of their most important life events and influences.
