How to Draw a Date Palm Tree - Step-by-Step Tutorial

Step 1: Start by drawing the roots. Draw a few small wavy lines in a bundle.

Step 2: Then, draw the trunk. On either side of your roots, draw a long straight line using sideways humps instead of a regular line. Now, draw a curved line going inward at the top of your line. Do the same on the other side but make sure your curved lines don’t touch each other. Then, draw small humps all along the inside of your trunk for trunk details.

Step 3: Finish up by drawing the leaves. Coming out of the top of the trunk, draw about nine long slanted lines. Coming off of each one of your slanted lines, draw small slanted lines on one side of your line. Repeat this on all of your long slanted lines and now you have leaves!
