How to Draw a Cartoon Owl - Step-by-Step Tutorial

Step 1: Let's start with the head. Draw a geometric figure that consists of two horns at the top, evenly spaced part and continue downward with two curved lines, connecting both to a point at the bottom.

Step 2: Now for the eyes. In the middle of the head figure, add two large circles and inside both, add a dark dot for the pupil. Below the eyes in the middle, draw in an upside down triangle. Now, above the eyes, add two curved lines that connect in the middle right in between the eyes.

Step 3: Off the chin of the owl, add two vertical lines, evenly spaced apart. In between the two vertical lines, add a bunch of dots for some body texture.

Step 4: Off the lines of the body to the left, add a horizontal line right below the base of the head. In the middle of this line, add another vertical line but keep it short. Off this line in the left direction, add multiple horizontal lines spaced close together. At the left-most position, connect all these horizontal lines with a single curved line. Repeat the previous step off to the right of the owl's body, with all lines moving in the right direction.

Step 5: Below the body, let's add the feet. Create multiple toes on the left by drawing in severl curved lines, connecting each at a point. The curved lines should come together at the middle. Now, flip over to the right and repeat this process once again.

Step 6: Underneath the feet in the middle, add a V shape and then add many little tubes off of this line. All the tube should be touching, fanning out to create the tail.

Step 7: Nice work!!
