How to Draw a Cartoon Peacock - Step-by-Step Tutorial
Step 1: Let's begin with the head of the peacock. Start by drawing a semi-circle that points off to the right. On one side, off to the left, continue this line downward. From the base of the semi-circle, add another vertical line for the neck of the peacock. Now, off to the right, add in two triangle to create the top and bottom of the beak. Off to the left of the beak, add two circles for the eyes. Now, move up to the top of the head and add in three curved lines that direct upwards, adding a small circle at the tip of each line.
Step 2: Now, time for the body. Continue to draw the left-most line a bit further down. Now jump over to the right vertical line and continue it downward as well, curving it off to the left at the base. There should be a large space left for the wing.
Step 3: Add in a cone-shaped figure. The top point of the cone should face off to the left. Add a few diagonal lines to the inside of the wing and connect them all at the center with a single vertical line.
Step 4: Now, from the base of the peacock, add a pair of parallel lines very close together. At the end of these two lines, add in a few toes of the feet. Repeat this step a bit off to the right, leaving a space between each leg/foot combination.
Step 5: Lastly, let's add the magestic tail off the back of the peacock. Move to the left of the wing and add in an inreegular shaped figure with many lumps at the base. Have some fun with adding shapes and texture to the tail!
Step 6: You did a wonderful job! Congratulations!
