Step 1: Begin with the nose. Draw a rectangle with round edges, and a small oval connected to it on the left. Within the rectangle , add a black circle on the right.

Step 2: Draw a jagged of slightly uneven line going up from the left-hand side of the nose.

Step 3: From the oval shape, draw a curved line going down.

Step 4: Just to the right of the previou line, add another curved line, extending longer, with a curved line coming down from it to connect to the previous line, before it continues. This will be the mouth and chin.

Step 5: Add several short lines extending out from the lowest line to the right, for a furry cheek.

Step 6: In the middle of the drawing, add an oval shape for the eye, as well as a small semi-circle on the left side of the furry line.

Step 7: Draw a large circle for the iris within the right eye.

Step 8: Shade in the iris (and the left eye).

Step 9: Now for the ears - add a bean shape above the furry line for the left ear, and then an upside down U-shape for the right, ending in a tight "U". A slanted line should be added above the first curve.

Step 10: Draw a series of upside down V-shapes to make the top of the head look spiky.

Step 11: Around the frame of the face, add several short lines to show the hairline.

Step 12: Add 3-4 long curved lines for whiskers on either side of the face.

Step 13: Your hedgehog is now finished!
