How to Draw a Realistic Alligator - Step-by-Step Tutorial

Step 1: First, draw the head and line for the mouth, leaving space for the back.

Step 2: Next draw the face, eyes with ridge over it, teeth and snout above the mouth.

Step 3: Then draw in the front leg with its webbed foot and ridges along the back of the Alligator and the outline of the tail.

Step 4: Next you'll draw in the hind leg and webbed foot, connecting it to the tail.

Step 5: Then draw in the crosshatch patterns along the under side of the tail.

Step 6: Next draw the crosshatch pattern on the legs and belly.

Step 7: Then you'll draw in the rest of the ridges along the back to the tail.

Step 8: Finally, draw the small wavy lines crossing the ridges on the back and a few other details in the face and jaw.
