How to Draw a Realistic Tyrannosaurus - Step-by-Step Tutorial

Step 1: Draw a vertical line curving at the top at an angle of 90. This is the head of the tyrannosaurus. Make a small line coming down from the end of the line towards the right for the front of the head.

Step 2: Now we draw the jaw by drawing a rough "C" shaped line starting from below the front of the head. Now draw another small curved line below the C to finish the jaw. Draw several curved lines on the head for detail.

Step 3: Draw the teeth by drawing a saw-tooth lie line below the front of the head and on top of the lower part of the jaw. Draw a line between both line of teeth to complete the mouth.

Step 4: Draw a small almond shaped eye surrounded by several lines around it for detail.

Step 5: Now we draw the body by drawing a curved horizontal line behind the head towards the left and a vertical curved line below the jaw. Draw a pointed horizintal tail starting from the top of the body. Make sure the tail is broader at the base.

Step 6: Draw two parallel vertical lines, curving in the middle for the knee, starting next to the tail and going down. This is the left leg. Finish the left leg by drawing a claw at the end with three long fingers. Make triangular sharp nails at the end of each finger. draw a lot of lines on the claw for detail. Draw another leg on the right side of te body below the neck, following the same instructions.

Step 7: Next we draw the arms. Draw an "L" shaped curved line above the right leg and draw tiny triangular fingers at the end of it, now draw a line below that to connect it to the body. This is the right arm. Now draw the left arm by drawing two curved lines in the middle of the body and a fork-like claw at the end. This is the left arm.

Step 8: Your tyrannosaurus is now complete!
