Step 1: Eagles are majestic birds that often symbolize honor and power. Begin your eagle by drawing a circle for its head.
Step 2: Draw the eagle's neck as a freeform with a jagged zigzag line at the bottom. An eagle's feathers often a different color on its head than on its body and this creates the jagged line effect.
Step 3: Draw the body as an ellipse emerging from under the jagged line of the neck.
Step 4: Draw the left wing as a freeform with three wide lobes to represent the feathers.
Step 5: Draw the right wing in the same manner.
Step 6: Draw the legs as half-loops beneath the body.
Step 7: Draw the eagle's talons as a long line with two smaller lines branching off of it.
Step 8: Draw the eagle's eyes as ovals with crescent shapes shaded into them. If you color your eagle's body a dark brown and leave the head white, it will look like a bald eagle, which is the national symbol of the United States of America.
