How to Draw a Cartoon Mallard in 7 Easy Steps

Step 1: Start by drawing a triangular beak with rounded corners. Now draw a thin lower part of the beak by drawing a curved line below the triangle and making a small circular curve on the right end of the beak.

Step 2: Draw the head by drawing a curved line from above the beak and a smaller curved line below the beak. Connect both at the bottom with two thin curved horizontal lines.

Step 3: Draw a circle for the eye right behind the beak and shade it in.

Step 4: Now draw the wing by drawing a horizontal curved line below the head, extending towards the right. Now draw another curved line below that line and join both at the ends to make a point. Draw several vertical and horizontal lines on the wing for detail.

Step 5: Draw the body by drawing a curved line below the neck and curving it an angle of 90 degrees at the bottom.

Step 6: Now draw the tail by drawing a curved line continued with the body that goes to the end of the wing. Now draw a diagonal curved line to connect it to the wing while making a pointed end. Draw vertical and horizontal lines at the end of the tail for detail.

Step 7: Next we draw the feet. Draw two thin appendages below the body with three thin pointed toes on each.
