How to Draw a Cartoon Merlin - Step-by-Step Tutorial

Step 1: Start by drawing the beak which is a small triangle with a line in the middle and a tiny circle at the back end.

Step 2: Now draw a small curved horizontal line above the beak and a more curved, longer line below the beak for the body.

Step 3: Draw a small circle for the eye behind the beak and fill it in.

Step 4: Now we draw the wings. Draw a line arising vertically from above the head and then curving at an angle of 45 degrees. Draw another line from the middle of the body and curve it horizontally. Now draw several vertical lines across the wings and curved lines and grooves for the feathers. Draw loop-like feathers at the edge of the wing to finish the wings.

Step 5: Now draw a pointed tail at the bottom with several lines for detail on it behind the wings.
