Step 1: To draw a sea lion, begin with the head. This can be done by drawing a backwards "C" with a small bump for the nose. Add a small dot and a short line here for the nose and mouth.
Step 2: Add the rest of the face details by drawing a circle above and to the side of the mouth for the eye, with three curved lines beneath it for whiskers.
Step 3: Now for the flipper. Draw a long, rounded "W" with an extra curve, then add two lines within it.
Step 4: From the top of the head and behind the flipper, extend the body back, almost to a point, by drawing two slightly curved lines.
