Step 1: To begin, draw the upper beak by drawing an umbrella with the handle sticking out of the side.

Step 2: Add the nostril by drawing a stretched z-shape connected to the top and side of the beak. Then add an oval shape, roughly in the middle.

Step 3: Now for the lower beak. Connect the upper beak to itself on the right-hand side with an L-shaped line, then connect it to a v-shaped line.

Step 4: Add the head around the beak, making the top and sides smooth, with lots of zig-zags on the bottom for feathers.

Step 5: Draw the right eye by drawing an oval to the right of the beak. Add a large circle within the oval and a black circle within that. On top of the oval, draw a horizontal line, and add a sideways "Y" to the right of the oval.

Step 6: Add the left eye by drawing a circle, with a smaller circle inside of it. Add a black dot to the inner circle, and a horizontal line above the outermost circle.

Step 7: Around the head and below the beak, add more zig-zag shapes, like W-shapes, for feathers and additional detail.

Step 8: Your hawk is complete!
