How to Draw a Meerkat Head - Step-by-Step Tutorial

Step 1: Draw the forehead and nose bridge by drawing a curved line to the left, slanting right sharply, before bring the line smoothly to the left again.

Step 2: At the end of the nose bridge, draw a small triangle for the nose.

Step 3: Add two dots within the nose for nostrils, then from the bottom of the nose, bring a bumpy line back and up slightly right for the mouth.

Step 4: Just below and behind the nose, draw a curved line back from the mouth for the jaw. Add two curved lines below the jaw for the neck.

Step 5: Draw an arched line back slightly from the top of the head. Add an oval in the center above the mouth for the eye.

Step 6: Draw a circle within the eye and a small dot inside of it for the iris and pupil. From the back of the head, draw an arched line for the ear.

Step 7: Add a small cruved line above and below the eye for detail. Draw the body of the meerkat by drawing a straight line down from the ear, and a curved one from the opposite side of the neck.

Step 8: Draw a leaf shaped pattern around the eye, and a mushroom shape within the ear.

Step 9: Finally, draw short little lines around the ear for fur.

Step 10: Your meerkat is now complete!
