How to Draw a Realistic Hippopotamus - Step-by-Step Tutorial

Step 1: We can start by drawing the hippo's head. Draw a circle with an oval at the bottom for the chin.

Step 2: Next you can add some features to the face. Add a small circle for the eye, two tiny bean shapes for the ears, a line for the nose and a smiley mouth!

Step 3: Now we can draw the body. Draw one curve leading down from the left ear.

Step 4: The next step is to add the legs. Start with a rectangle underneath.

Step 5: Draw the other front leg, and a curve for the tummy.

Step 6: Draw the hind leg in the same way.

Step 8: Finally add some details to the face like hairs and nails on the feet.
