Step 1: The head of the toucan looks much like a horse's hoof.
Step 2: Draw a large eye with a very large pupil at the upper right side of the head.
Step 3: Draw the upper bill as a long curved knife blade, projecting leftwards from the eye. The blade has a slight crack at its curved end.
Step 4: Finally, draw the lower bill as a smaller mirror image of the upper bill.
