How to Draw an Emperor Penguin For Kids - Step-by-Step Tutorial
Step 1: Emperor penguins are the largest species of penguin. They live in Antarctica and are famous for their long marches across the snowy landscape. Begin your emperor penguin by drawing an ellipse with a gap left open on the left side.
Step 2: Draw the penguin's beak as a diamond shape with a line down the middle. Add an oval for the eye and shade the bottom right corner of the eye.
Step 3: Add the penguin's egg-shaped body. It's body is streamlined for swimming but walking is difficult.
Step 4: Penguins have wings that function as flippers for swimming. Add the wings as curved lines alongside the body.
Step 5: Draw the penguin's flipper feet as wavy freeform below the body.
Step 6: Add the tail behind the body. Draw it as a wide elliptical loop pointing away from the penguin.
