How to Draw a Cartoon Troodon - Step-by-Step Tutorial

Step 1: Start by drawing the wide mouth with sharp teeth. Draw two sets of diagonal curves, one inside the other and connected on the right side, for the top and bottom of the jaws. Draw a curve along the inner portion of the jaws to form part of the mouth. Add on a dot near the top of the jaw and jagged lines along the upper and lower sides of the for the teeth.

Step 2: Draw in a circle for the eye just above the “V” of the mouth. Make sure to fill in the circle.

Step 3: Draw a spiky curving line attached to the top of the mouth and shaped sort of like an “M” for the back of the neck and the back. Draw in a diagonal curve under the jaw for the front of the neck.

Step 4: Next, you'll draw a curving pointed loop with spikes along the top for the tail. Add in a second line across the bottom just under the loop.

Step 5: Draw a curving line starting about midway down the torso and bending at about a 90 degree angle after a short distance. Add a second diagonal line tapering down to meet the end of the first. Draw several thin loops along the vertical edge of the arm. Add in another arm on the right side, making this one similar to the first only smaller.

Step 6: Finally, draw in the curving legs, small loops for the feet and a curve for the belly.
