Step 1: Draw an angled ellipse for your cobra's head.
Step 2: Cobras coil up their bodies for protection. They also coil when they are ready to strike their prey. Draw the cobra's coiled as three layered ellipses and two "L"-shaped lines.
Step 3: Draw the cobra's pointy tail as a cone on the back of the bottom ellipse.
Step 4: Draw each eye as a set of two circles, an open outer circle and a shaded inner circle. Make sure to leave a white dot unshaded in the corner of each inner circle to show reflection.
Step 5: Draw the mouth as a curved line and the lounge as a "Y"-shape. Cobras use their forked tongues to taste the air around them in much the same way as you use your sense of smell.
