Step 1: Draw the body of the koi fish by making a shape that looks like a sidewise teardrop. This should be rounded on one end and pointed on the other.
Step 2: Draw a curved line to divide the head and the body of the fish.
Step 3: Draw a wavy line on top of the body for the fin.
Step 4: Add a small fin to the front of the body. This should connect to where the head and body meet.
Step 5: Next draw a larger fin on the back of the fish. This is the tail fin.
Step 6: Draw tiny curved lines all over the body of the koi fish. These are the koi's scales.
Step 7: Draw straight lines on all of the fins, including the tail fin.
Step 8: Now add two eyes and long wavy lines to the face. These are called barbell. Your koi fish is all done!
