How to Draw a Realistic Dove - Step-by-Step Tutorial
Step 1: To begin, draw a small circle to the right of where you want the body to be and then draw two more overlapping ovals next to it for the body.
Step 2: Then erase the intersecting lines around the head and draw in the eye and beak.
Step 3: Next erase the rest of the intersecting lines as well as a small part of the line for the bottom leg and draw the looping tail feathers.
Step 4: Then you'll draw in some smaller looping tail feathers and erase the rest of the guide along the belly.
Step 5: Next draw the extended upper wing with a jagged edge and lines radiating from the right side for the feathers and a short line along the belly leaving a small gap for the leg.
Step 6: Then you'll draw the right leg and foot approximately even with the center of the tail, making it tucked up against the body.
Step 7: After that, you'll draw in the other leg and foot, also making it tucked up against the body.
Step 8: Lastly, draw in the final details such as the tiny feathers around the legs and a short line to separate the wing an body.
